About Multimodal Logistic Parks
The establishment of Multi-Modal Logistics Parks (MMLPs) in a hub-and-spoke framework is a major policy initiative of the Union Government of India. An MMLP is a freight-handling facility that has access to numerous modes of transportation, mechanised warehousing, specialised additional storage like cold storage, equipment for mechanised product processing and inter-modal transfer container terminals, as well as large and break-bulk freight terminals.
